  • Screen requires a lot of reading
  • There are a multitude of tasks the user can perform on the discharge plan that are not fully represented in this topic
  • To get instructions for tasks, users have to click How? or More info … and are taken to yet another screen
  • The most relevant information is actually in the Managing Elements of a Discharge Plan topic under Related Topics, which takes users to another screen where they click more links
  • Users get lost in the help

  • Help lists every task the user can accomplish from the Discharge Plan screen in the application
  • Clicking a link opens a pop-up window so the user never loses the main topic
  • Icons from the application added to help users quickly find what they need on the application screen
  • Significantly fewer clicks
